Dear Minister MacKay,

My name is Rachel Hewitt. I am 11 years old. Even though I didn't work at the Garrick, I still know some people that used to work there or still work very closely with the project. My father is a member of the Bonavista Historical Society and told me much about the theater and it's history. The former owner, John Bradley, lives not far from my house and I'm interviewing him for my heritage fair project. I think a theater would be a great addition to our town. The town its self needs a boost for tourism. I know this is because during the summer many people leave Bonavista to go to Trinity. A lot of people in my class (and in my town) would love to see all those new movies that only come out in theater at first. Please support this worth- while project, Minister.
