Dear Minister MacKay,

I am writing to you because I would like you to help finish the Garrick Theatre here in Bonavista so families and friends can have more fun and be entertained.

So that kids get a chance to see things they never seen before. Kids can spend their money on there favorite movie at the Garrick Theatre and after they could tell their friends about it and they might go and spend their money to see a movie at the Garrick Theatre. It is important to spend more time with family and friends.

It is important for us to see live concerts, plays, famous singers, dances, and get to express our own talents. Us kids can spend our money on something good instead of just junk food.

I know tourists would stay longer and rent hotels. The tourists already come to see the other historical sites in Bonavista. The Garrick Theatre would be the perfect opportunity for them to spend money just to see a movie at the Garrick Theatre. If they stay longer the more money the tourists will spend on the hotels and stuff.

The Garrick Theatre is a great historic site and a great landmark. It is full of history and it tells you about the past. We can learn about what happened years ago.

We are proud of The Garrick Theatre here in Bonavista. So please Minister Mackey help finish the Garrick Theatre here in the historical town called Bonavista.
