Dear Minister MacKay,

Im twelve and since I live practicialy in Bonavista, thats where I spend most of my weekends too. But unfortunaly, my friends and I get bored a lot. I know thats not your problem, but if we had the garrick theatre opened again, maybe we wouldnt be bored as often. I've seen all the people thta have posted their letters on this site, and it really shows that people actually care what happens around here. People care what their town has to offer. I've also seen people thta wrote their letters from St. Johns, so that has to mean something. People from other towns that aready owns a theatre in their town are writing letters so we could get a theatre!I've heard so much about this theatre from my parents and others, and everytime it seems like its a good story. People had fun their. So thats why a lot of people got excited about the reopening of it. The outside looks beautiful and workers have put a lot of hard work and sweat into this building. It would be sad for a nice building like this to go to waste! I've heard that people will be putting on plays and shows that tell about the heritage of Bonavista. Believe it or not, maybe kids would want to go see this and they might even become more interested in our heritage. Bonavista deserves a theatre, and just to keep in mind, we are only kids once you know! We should enjoy our lives and town while we have it, so please reopen the theatre. Other people would love it and so would I.
