Dear Minister MacKay,

The continued support towards restoration activities in the rural areas of Newfoudland nad Labrador are vital to maintaining a close relationship to our cultural heritage. Being a past resident of Bonavista it saddens me wholeheartedly to know that the once vibrant heritage that was displayed in our area is threatened to once more take a direct hit. Many memories of my childhood surround nights in the Garrick Theatre. It would be nothing short of a heritage disaster to see this building not provided with the support it so desperately needs to continue as a monument for generations to come.
